• Solicitation or Marketing Purposes: You shall not use our forms, contact forms, emails, questionnaires, or comment sections to solicit our staff or other users, market your own or third-party products or services, distribute promotional materials, or establish business relationships unrelated to the legitimate purpose of the forms. Our communication channels are strictly for patient care and information purposes, not for commercial solicitation or business development.
• Use of Fake or Temporary Email Addresses: You shall not use disposable, temporary, or fake email addresses when registering or submitting information through our website. All email addresses provided must be valid, active accounts that you own or are authorized to use.
• Automated Form Completion: You shall not use bots, scripts, or other automated technologies to complete forms, questionnaires, or quizzes on our website unless explicitly authorized by us in writing.
• Multiple Submissions: You shall not submit multiple entries or responses to the same form, questionnaire, or quiz unless explicitly permitted to do so.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Online Consultation Bookings

• Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your consultation appointment.
• Consultations can be canceled with a full refund if notice is provided at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will not be refunded.

‍4.2 Treatment Plans

• Our treatment plans operate as subscriptions that automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or quarterly) until you cancel.
• By enrolling in a plan, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method according to the selected billing cycle (monthly or quarterly).
• All payments must be made in advance of the billing period.
• You may manage your subscription, update payment methods, view invoices, and cancel your plan at any time through our Stripe-hosted customer portal. This secure self-service portal allows you to access and control your billing information directly.
• Alternatively, you may request subscription changes by contacting help@lipedema.team or through your account settings.

• Cancellation will be effective at the end of the current billing period.
• No refunds will be issued for the current billing period once it has begun.
• The specific services included in each plan are detailed in the plan description.
• We reserve the right to modify the specific components of treatment as medically appropriate.
• Appointments missed or canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are considered used and will not be rescheduled without additional charge.

4.3 Surgical Packages

• A deposit is required to reserve a surgery date and applies toward the total cost of your surgical package.
• For all patients traveling to Mexico City: Deposits are fully refundable if cancellation is made up to 48 hours before your scheduled arrival date in Mexico City.
• For our local patients who are Mexico City residents: Deposits are fully refundable if cancellation is made up to 48 hours (2 days) before your scheduled surgery date and time.
• After these periods, deposits are non-refundable. This policy exists because late cancellations prevent us from offering the surgical slot to other patients, result in scheduling losses for our surgical team, and require us to maintain reserved surgical facilities, specialized equipment, and dedicated staff that cannot be reallocated on short notice.
• The remaining balance of the surgery cost must be paid in full upon arrival at our clinic, prior to the surgical procedure.
• Surgery dates are subject to availability. The deposit guarantees your promised surgery date only if payment is completed within 24 hours of receiving the payment link. Delays in deposit payment may result in the release of your tentatively reserved date to other patients and would require a new surgery date confirmed by our team.
• We reserve the right to decline to perform surgery if pre-surgical medical assessment indicates the procedure might be unsafe. In such cases, a full refund of the deposit will be issued.

4.4 Payment Processing

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• We do not store your complete credit card information on our servers.
• You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made on our website.
• You further agree to promptly update account and payment information, including email address, payment method, and payment card expiration date, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

4.5 Currency and Taxes

• All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified.
• Prices displayed do not include taxes unless explicitly stated.
• Any applicable taxes will be added at checkout or included in your invoice.

4.6 Price Changes

• We reserve the right to adjust pricing for our services at any time.
• Price changes will not affect current billing periods for existing subscribers but may apply upon renewal.
• We will provide reasonable notice of any price changes before they take effect.

5. Intellectual Property Rights
The Lipedema Team website and its entire contents, features, and functionality are owned by Lipedema Team and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties
Your use of the Lipedema Team website is at your own risk. The website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
